While our complete journaling guide covers the "I am grateful now that..." style of scripting, these prompts go deeper—into self-discovery, assumption examination, and inner work.
Use these prompts when you want to understand yourself better, uncover blocks, or clarify your true desires.

- What am I afraid might happen if I get what I want?
- What part of me benefits from NOT having this desire yet?
- How specific do I need to be? How much can I leave to the "how"?
- What does "the end" look like for this desire?
- What scene would imply my desire is fulfilled?
- Who would I tell first? What would they say?
- What would I stop doing once this desire manifests?
- What would I start doing?
- Is there any way this desire could manifest that I'd reject?
- What's the core of this desire? Can it be fulfilled multiple ways?
- What desire have I been too afraid to admit, even to myself?
